In addition to the smaller projects we are constantly working on for our repeat customers such as Trane, White Oak ISD, REG Biodiesel, Ingersoll Rand, Teknor Color Company and others, the following list highlights the wide range of projects we have completed over the last few years.


REG – New Boston Biodiesel Plant -2017 Shutdown
Completed February 2017 

This project was one of the most challenging projects RMC has taken on in recent years.  We completed over 15 individual piping projects (mostly carbon steel and stainless steel piping) at this plant during a 6 week outage.  Planning and pre-fab work began 2 months before the actual shutdown.  RMC logged more than 13,000 man-hours in just over 3 months, with the 6 week shutdown being worked on a 7-12 / 24 hour a day schedule.   The project was completed in budget with no recordable accidents.


Kluber Lubricants – Bulk Unloading Project
Completed August 2016

RMC installed over 2000 feet of carbon steel weld pipe to support a new unloading station for the oil products that Kluber uses to make their specialty lubricants.


UT Tyler Boiler Replacement
Completed January 2016

This project consisted of the piping and electrical work to replace an older Cleaver Brooks hot water boiler with (5) Lockinvar condensing style hot water boilers.


REG-New Boston Biodiesel Plant-2015 Shutdown
Completed July 2015

Robertson Mechanical completed a piping upgrade project on the cooling /vacuum system during a 10 day (24 hr/day) outage.


REG-New Boston Biodiesel Plant-Boiler Install
Completed October 2013

Robertson Mechanical completed the mechanical and electrical installation of a 750hp boiler for an operational biodiesel plant.


Trane-Line 1 Relocation
Completed February 2011

Robertson Mechanical provided piping and electrical power/controls work to complete a fast-paced project to completely tear down, rearrange and reinstall one of Trane’s major assembly lines.  


Trane - Gas/Sound Lab
Completed March 2009

Robertson Mechanical worked closely with local Architects, Engineers and the customer on this design – build project for a new state of the art research and testing facility.  Our scope of work included:


TAC Controls- White Oak ISD Mechanical Upgrades
Completed March 2009

This project included all mechanical and electrical work associated with the replacement of (2) chillers, (2) HW boilers, (8) pumps and miscellaneous piping and control valves throughout the elementary school campus.


Trane Arkansas-St Michaels Chilled Water Upgrade
Completed September 2007

This project at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana consisted of all mechanical work for the installation of an 1800 ton chiller and an 1800 ton cooling tower.


Trane – Substation Replacement 
Completed December 2016

RMC installed a brand new Eaton 13500V/480V substation consisting of (2) HV switches, (2) transformers and (2) breaker units.  After of month of pre-fab work, we brought the new substation online in a 5 day shutdown.  At startup, all affected equipment came on-line as planned without even a single piece of equipment being out of phase.


Schneider Electric – White Oak ISD Mechanical Upgrades II
Completed April 2016

This project consisted of an energy upgrade performance contract in which we supplied all piping & electrical installation for chillers, cooling tower, pumps, RTUs, AHUs and control components.  Electrical scope of work also included the complete replacement of a  480V/3ph switchgear.


UT Tyler Chiller Addition
Completed October 2015

RMC provided piping and rigging services for the installation of a 500 ton chiller, 500 ton cooling tower and pumps.


Trane-Line B Installation
Completed March 2014

Robertson Mechanical provided piping, electrical power/controls and millwright services to install a completely new assembly line for AC Unit manufacturing.


BGC Manufacturing
Completed May 2012

RMC completed the installation of multiple SS Sanitary Piping projects and other Facilities work at Brookshire’s Water Plant in Tyler, TX.


Tyler Junior College-Bulk Gas Installation
Completed January 2010

RMC worked with TJC personnel and their gas supplier to install a bulk specialty gas system at the welding school located at the West Campus location.


Ingersoll Rand-Compressor Installation
Completed January 2009

Robertson Mechanical worked closely with Ingersoll Rand on this project which consisted of completely replacing the 100# compressed air system for the Trane plant in Tyler, TX.   Ingersoll Rand supplied all the engineering and equipment for the project, while we worked closely with IR on the equipment/piping layout and the sequencing of the project to best meet the customer’s ongoing manufacturing needs.  Our scope of work for this project included:


Teknor-Extruder Installation
Completed August 2008

This extruder installation was a 25mm specialty extruder that we provided complete turnkey mechanical, electrical and rigging installation for the customer.


TXU Martin Creek-Miscellaneous Outage Projects
Completed May 2007

RMC provided TXU manpower and supervision to complete a group of process piping projects during a scheduled unit outage at the Martin Creek Facility.
