Robertson Mechanical Contractors delivers industrial plumbing, process piping, and custom-fabricated mechanical assemblies for manufacturing facilities, food processing plants, commercial buildings, and other complex environments.
Our work includes utility and process piping, drainage systems, underground utilities, equipment hookups, pipe spools, mechanical skids, and multi-trade assemblies built in our fabrication shop.
2024-2025
RMC plumbing crews installed the single biggest plumbing project we have ever performed for the new 480,000 sf manufacturing facility for Keep Right Refrigeration in Kilgore, TX.
Q3-Q4 2024
While utilizing our fabrication shop for prefabrication, RMC fabricated and installed all the piping headers for the utilities serving a new line of 24 tire presses. Additionally, RMC installed all the piping drops to these new presses.
March – August 2024
RMC performed the plumbing, piping and HVAC scopes of work for the new Komatsu Motor Shop where Komatsu manufactures the electric motors for their massive mining equipment.
2024
RMC plumbers installed all the plumbing scope of work for a ~250,000 sf expansion at AAON’s Longview facility.
March – April 2024
RMC provided turnkey rigging, piping, and electrical services to upgrade the compressed air system at Cleveland Steel Containers in Kilgore, TX.
The project consisted of demolishing obsolete equipment, rearranging existing equipment, and installing a new 175hp compressor, an oil separator, and a 2000-gallon storage tank.
All new piping for this equipment was redesigned by RMC and CSC, utilizing an aluminum piping product, which resulted in a more efficient system for the customer.
May – October 2023
RMC piping crews installed extensive piping changes to support the installation of (4) 1500hp compressors in the Cooper Tire – Texarkana central plant.
June – October 2023
Goodyear – Cooper Tire developed a new soybean-based oil to use in the manufacturing of the rubber for their tires that produces a more “sustainable” tire product. RMC installed all the piping and equipment for the distribution of this new soybean oil to all of the mixers in the plant.
Duration of 2022
After the loss of a Building 9 at the Trane facility, RMC provided crews on a fast-paced project to complete all the electrical and piping scope of work for 7 new assembly lines that were installed in the new production building.
Completed May 2021
RMC was awarded the Mechanical, Plumbing and Process Piping scope of work for Komatu’s new fabrication facility in Longview TX. RMC partnered with East Texas Refrigeration who completed the HVAC equipment and Sheetmetal work. RMC installed well over 20,000 feet of piping for this project.
Completed February 2021
When the roof collapsed on Trane’s 120,000 sf Assembly Building during East Texas Snowmageddon 2021, RMC personnel were there that day in the snow to start the recovery effort.
RMC Mechanical and Electrical worked with Sherrill Construction and Smith Fab for the new few months in order to recover the irreplaceable manufacturing equipment in the building.
In addition to this recovery effort, RMC played an essential role in building (2) new “temporary” assembly lines to assist in Trane’s Manufacturing recovery plan.
Completed April 2019
RMC worked with Sherrill Construction (Tyler) and Thompson Architectural Group (Tyler) in the design build of a 25,000sf expansion to Trane’s sheet metal production area.
After the design phase, RMC was the successful bidder for the entire MEP package on this project.
We installed all the plumbing, HVAC, process piping and electrical for this new building. After the building was complete, RMC worked for Trane directly to install all the piping and electrical utilities to their new process equipment in this expansion.
Completed February 2019
RMC successfully completed another outage project for this customer on a tight schedule. RMC worked under the Management of The Baker Group (Iowa) to complete process upgrades to this facility, which included vessels, tanks, carbon steel piping, and stainless steel piping.
Completed December 2018
RMC worked with Trane Commercial Systems (Little Rock, AR) to install all the piping for a new 500T water-cooled chiller to support the process cooling system at Cooper Tire in Texarkana, AR.
Completed August 2018

Completed July 2018
RMC installed all the process piping to accommodate the new storage tanks when this facility expanded its tank farm storage capacity.
Completed February 2017
This project was one of the most challenging projects RMC has taken on in recent years. We completed over 15 individual piping projects (mostly carbon steel and stainless steel piping) at this plant during a 6-week outage. Planning and pre-fab work began 2 months before the actual shutdown. RMC logged more than 13,000 man-hours in just over 3 months, with the 6-week shutdown being worked on a 7-12 / 24-hour-a-day schedule.
Completed August 2016
RMC installed over 2000 feet of carbon steel weld pipe to support a new unloading station for the oil products that Kluber uses to make their specialty lubricants.
